Smartap invented a unique, user-friendly, text entry solution which enables mobile phone users to double their typing speed using the standard 12-key keypad. By redistributing the alphabet letters from 8 keys onto all the 12 keys of a standard phone, using our patented algorithm, Smartap has enabled users to type twice faster than using “Multitap". Typing a letter using Smartap requires, in 75% of the cases, only a single key-press. Smartap solution is self explanatory and intuitive as demonstrated by recent international market trials. Users typed faster with Smartap in comparison to Multitap after typing merely five sentences. The majority of users said they would prefer a Smartap keyboard arrangement on their mobile phones rather than the standard Multitap.
